Man Injured in Fresno County Bicycle Accident at Jensen and East Ave

Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Collision at Jensen and East Avenues at Fresno County

Fresno County,  California (August 17, 2023) – A 50-year-old man was hospitalized after being hit by a car while riding a bicycle at an intersection in Fresno County on Thursday evening.

Fresno police say the accident happened at about 6 p.m. at Jensen and East Avenues.

The man was riding his bike in the crosswalk when a car going through a green light struck him.

The bicyclist sustained major injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

The involved driver stopped after the crash and remained at the scene, cooperating with the authorities.

No other injuries were reported.

The accident remains under investigation.
