Leslie Rosas Killed in Lemon Grove Car Accident on Highway 94 at College Avenue

San Diego, California (December 27, 2022) – Police have identified the 25-year-old woman killed in a Lemon Grove car crash on Friday morning as Leslie Nunez Rosas of El Cajon, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The deadly accident occurred at about 8:25 a.m. on December 23 on Highway 94 at the College Avenue off-ramp.

As per the report, a Chrysler 300 was heading westbound when it struck Rosa’s vehicle which was driving westbound on Highway 94. Rosa’s car went off the roadway and down an off-ramp embankment at College Avenue after the collision.

The Chrysler also crashed into multiple other vehicles.

Emergency crews and medics responded to the scene to aid the crash victims. Rosa was declared dead at the accident scene.

The Chrysler driver tried fleeing the scene but was arrested by police while walking down the street.

Further details regarding this crash were not released.

An investigation is ongoing.
