Los Angeles, CA – A 28-year-old woman was killed, and another person was critically injured in a three-vehicle crash on the Harbor Freeway in downtown Los Angeles early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway near the Third Street on-ramp at approximately 1:50 a.m. Sunday. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene following reports of a serious multi-vehicle accident.

Authorities reported that the crash involved three vehicles, one of which overturned and caught fire during the incident. The exact sequence of events leading up to the collision remains under investigation.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later identified the deceased victim as 28-year-old Isla Solis Hernandez. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Another woman sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. No information regarding arrests has been released.

Firefighters and paramedics responded quickly to extinguish the vehicle fire, provide medical aid, and secure the crash site.

The accident caused significant disruption along the northbound lanes of the Harbor Freeway near downtown Los Angeles as crews worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the scene.
