VinsnowAt Least One Injured in Tonopah Big Rig Crash on I-10 near Wintersburg Road
Tonopah, Arizona (August 6, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Tonopah on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at around 2 p.m. on Interstate 10 near Wintersburg Road.
Police said the four semi-trucks were involved in the crash, and they caught fire after colliding, igniting a brush fire in the area.
Injuries were reported, but details regarding the number of people injured and the severity of the injuries were not provided.
The westbound lanes of I-10 were temporarily closed as the scene was cleared.
