Clearlake, California (January 26, 2023) – 48-year-old Edward Quinones has been identified as the bicyclist who died after being hit by a car in Clearlake last week Tuesday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened on Boyles Avenue near 26th Avenue at around 5:45 p.m. on January 17.
Edward was riding a bicycle on Boyles Avenue when he was struck by a Toyota Tundra.
Authorities and paramedics arrived and pronounced Edward dead at the scene.
The unidentified driver of the Tundra was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor manslaughter.
More details about the crash were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
