Bakersfield, California (January 18, 2023)- 13- year-old Dylan Jon Dominguez, of Follows, has been identified as the boy who died on Sunday evening after being hit by a vehicle while riding a skateboard in Bakersfield.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 5:30 p.m. on Highway 33 just north of Arnold Avenue.
Dominguez was skating in the area when he was hit by a pickup truck.
Dominguez was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Kern County coroner’s office.
CHP said alcohol and drugs did not play a role in the crash.
