VinsnowDemetrianna Duncan Killed, 6 Injured in Car Accident near Calvine and Franklin in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (May 8, 2023) – 18-year-old Demetrianna Duncan was killed in a car crash on Thursday in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Calvine Road and Franklin Boulevard.
Elk Grove police reportedly attempted to stop a suspected stolen vehicle when the suspect sped off and crashed into another vehicle in the area.
Four people in the suspect’s vehicle and three others in the other vehicle were injured in the crash and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Duncan was in the suspect’s vehicle and succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
