Brittany Anne Parra Id’D as Woman Killed in Fontana Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Sierra Avenue

San Bernardino, California (August 15, 2023) – Brittany Anne Parra, 28, of Pomona, has been identified as the woman killed in a car collision on Tuesday last week in Fontana, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office.

The accident happened at about 3:04 a.m. on August 8 on the westbound 10 Freeway near Sierra Avenue.

Authorities said Parra was heading westbound on I-10 when she lost control and crashed into the median wall. The sedan then drove into the westbound lanes where a 2006 Honda Accord, operated by a 23-year-old woman from Los Angeles, hit it. Following the collision, multiple other vehicles hit the Civic.

Brittany died in the collision.

A Toyota RAV4 was also involved in the accident. The 55-year-old woman from Colton driving the Toyota was taken to Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fontana to treat minor injuries.

No additional information regarding this incident was provided.
