P.MarkShayani1 Killed in Bicycle Accident on Canada Road near Filoli Garden in Redwood City
Redwood City, California (April 11, 2023) – A bicyclist died after being struck by a car on Monday morning in Redwood City.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 5 p.m. on Canada Road near Filoli Garden.
Police say the bicyclist was struck by an Acura sedan traveling northbound on Canada Road.
The bicyclist, a 37-year-old man from South Francisco, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Acura were transported to the hospital out of precaution.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
