Anthony Hernandez Killed in Car Accident on I-10 Freeway near Morongo Trail in Cabazon

Riverside County, California (October 13, 2022) – 22-year-old Anthony Hernandez of Palm Springs has been identified as the man who was killed in a car crash on Tuesday afternoon in Cabazon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 12:54 p.m. on westbound I-10, just east of Morongo Trail.

Hernandez was driving a sedan when he collided with a big rig in unclear circumstances.

Hernandez was killed in the crash, according to the Riverside County coroner’s office.

The truck driver was unhurt.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
