Andrew Davidson Dies in Riverside County Motorcycle Accident on Van Buren Boulevard

Riverside County, California (April 24, 2023) – 23-year-old Andrew Davidson died Monday morning after being involved in a motorcycle accident in Riverside County.

The fatal crash occurred at around 8:30 a.m. on Van Buren Boulevard between Garfield Street and California Avenue.

Davidson, a Riverside County sheriff’s deputy, was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a sedan.

According to the authorities, the motorcycle caught fire after the crash but was extinguished by bystanders.

Davidson was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A 66-year-old sedan driver sustained minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

Alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
