Vinsnow5 Injured, 1 Hospitalized After Mid-Wilshire Accident on Wilshire Boulevard
Mid-Wilshire, California (May 18, 2023) – According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, five persons were hurt following a multi-car accident in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood on Wednesday evening.
The accident happened a while after 5:00 p.m. on May 17, in the 4500 block of Wilshire Boulevard near Muirfield Road.
Police confirmed three cars crashed for unknown reasons. Authorities said it was a rollover crash.
Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to aid the victims. One individual pinned inside the car was extricated. The patient was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Four other individuals suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
Police closed Muirfield Road for some hours due to the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
