4 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 99 near French Camp Road in Stockton

Stockton, California (April 1, 2023) – Four people were killed in a DUI car crash that happened in Stockton on Friday morning.
The deadly collision happened at around 12:25 a.m. on Highway 99 near French Camp Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 32-year-old woman was driving a black Honda Accord northbound on the highway when she crashed into the rear of a U-Haul truck tow truck.
A Subaru Impreza and three other vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
The driver of the Honda was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Subaru, identified as a 19-year-old male from Pasco, WA, and his two passengers were killed in the accident.
Nicholas Craggs, 40, of Stockton, was driving a Chevrolet Suburban and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Authorities also suspect that the driver of the Honda was driving under the influence of alcohol.
More details about the accident were not released.
