P.MarkShayani4 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 154 near Lake Cachuma in Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara, California (April 23, 2023) – Four people were hospitalized after being injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday evening in Santa Barbara.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the accident happened on Highway 154 near the Lake Cachuma entrance.
A motorcycle and two other vehicles were involved in the accident. However, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
Officials say a male rider and a female rider were seriously injured in the accident. One was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital by a CalStar medical helicopter while another was transported by ground ambulance.
Two other people from a sedan had minor injuries and were taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
