Accident News Team3 Killed, 3 Injured in Car Accident on 210 Freeway near Citrus Avenue in Fontana
San Bernardino, California (January 15, 2023) – Three people were killed in an early Saturday morning crash in Fontana.
The fatal crash happened on the 210 Freeway near Citrus Avenue at around 6:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 23-year-old Fontana man driving a 2012 Ford eastbound on the westbound lanes when he collided with a 2001 Lexus driven by a 43-year-old man from Highland.
Both drivers were killed in the accident.
A 16-year-old passenger riding the Lexus died at a local hospital while receiving treatment.
A 42-year-old woman, a 5-year-old girl, and a 3-year-old boy who were also riding in the Lexus were hospitalized with major injuries.
