2 Women Injured in Car Accident at 54th Street and College Grove Drive in San Diego
San Diego, California (January 2, 2023) – Two women were seriously in a collision involving an MTS bus that happened at an intersection in San Diego on Sunday morning.
At around 8:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a traffic collision at 54th Street and College Grove Drive.
A 29-year-old woman driving a 2009 Nissan Versa southbound on 54th Street reportedly failed to stop at the red light and struck a 2012 Toyota Highlander traveling eastbound through the intersection.
The Toyota then struck an MTS bus stopped at the light.
Both female drivers were seriously injured in the accident and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The bus driver was unhurt.
