P.MarkShayani2 Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Riverview Ave near Lemon Crest Dr in Lakeside
San Diego, California (March 16, 2023) – Two people were injured in a collision involving a motorcycle near Lakeside on Tuesday afternoon.
The motorcycle accident happened on Riverview Avenue near Lemon Crest Drive in the Winter Gardens area at around 2:50 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said an 18-year-old motorcyclist was riding a black 1985 Yamaha motorcycle northbound on the highway when he crashed into a southbound 2012 Toyota Camry.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a resident of West Virginia, was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Toyota suffered minor injuries in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
