Vinsnow1 Killed, 5 Injured in Collision at Calvine Road and Franklin Blvd in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (May 5, 2023) – One person was killed in a collision that left five other people critically injured in Sacramento on Thursday evening.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 4:25 p.m. at Calvine Road and Franklin Boulevard.
Authorities reportedly attempted to pull over the driver of a sedan but the motorist did not yield and sped away.
The sedan, which was reported stolen, collided with a pickup truck at the intersection.
A woman in the sedan was killed in the accident while a man and two juveniles were hospitalized in critical condition.
Three people in the pickup truck were transported to the hospital with moderate to serious injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
