P.MarkShayani1 Killed in Collision on Highway 178 near Pinto Street in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (April 5, 2023) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon in Ridgecrest, just east of Inyokern.
The fatal crash was reported around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 178 near Pinto Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. One of the vehicles overturned after the collision.
The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
CHP says one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
