1 Killed in Car Accident on Highway 247 near Granite Road in San Bernardino

San Bernardino, California (December 5, 2022) – One person was killed in a car crash that happened on Sunday morning in Lucerne Valley.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 11:21 a.m. on Highway 247 near Granite Road.

Two vehicles are reported to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances. One of the cars caught fire after the collision.

Authorities say one person was killed in the accident.

A second person was injured and was flown to Loma Linda University Hospital for treatment.
