1 Killed in Car Accident at Pacific Coast Highway and 2nd Street in Long Beach

Los Angeles, California (March 29, 2023) – One person was killed and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Long Beach on Tuesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of East Pacific Coast Highway and 2nd Street.
The incident began after an officer tried pulling over a suspect driver in Seal Beach. The suspect did not yield and sped away, prompting a police pursuit.
The suspect later crashed at the intersection, triggering a chain reaction collision involving eight other vehicles.
One person was killed in the accident.
Eight other people were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
