Accident News Team1 Killed in Arvin Car Crash on Highway 223 near Towerline Road
Kern County, California (January 13, 2023) – One person died in a head-on collision on Thursday evening in Arvin.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident happened on Highway 223 near Towerline Road at around 5:35 p.m.
An SUV driver was reportedly trying to pass another vehicle and collided head-on with a semi-truck.
One person was trapped inside the SUV and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
A second person was injured in the accident and was transported to Kern Medical in unknown condition.
