1 Killed in Car Accident at James Road and Manning Avenue in Fresno

Fresno, California (April 19, 2023) – One person was killed in a car crash that happened at an intersection in Fresno on Wednesday morning.

The fatal crash happened in the area of James Road and Manning Avenue at around 9:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A service truck was traveling northbound on James Road when he ran a stop sign at the intersection and struck a Ford pickup truck.

The impact of the collision sent a pickup truck off the roadway and into a field.

A man in his mid-40’s who was in the front passenger seat of the pickup truck was killed in the accident.

The pickup truck driver was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

The driver of the service truck was unhurt.
