Tolleson, Arizona (April 29, 2023) – One person was killed in a car crash on Friday night in Tolleson.
According to the Tolleson Police Department, the accident happened in the area of 83rd Avenue and Buckeye Road at around 8:53 p.m.
A vehicle was reportedly traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when it slammed into the trailer of a semi-truck stopped at a red light.
The car reportedly burst into flames after the collision.
One person was killed in the accident.
The semi-truck driver was unhurt.
Impairment of the driver of the passenger vehicle was unknown at the time of reporting.
