P.MarkShayani1 Killed in Car Accident on 8 Freeway near Dunaway Road in El Centro
El Centro, California (November 20, 2022) – One person was killed in a car crash that happened in El Centro on Sunday evening.
The fatal crash was reported at around 7:03 p.m. on Interstate 8 Freeway near Dunaway Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Kia Forte and a white Toyota Tacoma were involved in the collision. Although the report did not provide details of the circumstances surrounding the collision, the impact of the collision caused one of the cars to overturn, trapping two people.
One person was killed in the accident.
At least one other person was injured in the crash and was flown to an area hospital for treatment.
CHP says one person was arrested, but the charges were not disclosed.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
