P.MarkShayani1 Killed in Head-On Collision on 15 Freeway near Oak Hill Road in Cajon Pass
Cajon Pass, California (November 19, 2022) – One person was killed in a head-on collision that left several other people injured in Cajon Pass early Saturday morning in Cajon Pass.
The accident happened on the southbound 15 freeway between Oak Hill and Highway 138 at around 1:13 a.m.
A motorist was allegedly traveling the wrong way when it collided head-on with a van occupied by a male driver and several children.
The van caught fire after the collision and was extinguished by Good Samaritans.
The driver of the van was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
One person sustained critical injuries while four others were hospitalized with minor injuries.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
