P.MarkShayani1 Dies in Fremont Car Crash at Stewart Avenue and Boyce Road
Fremont, California (September 27, 2022) – One person was killed in a collision involving a big rig early Monday morning in Fremont.
According to the authorities, the accident happened at around 4:15 a.m. at the intersection of Stewart Avenue and Boyce Road near Interstate Highway 880 and Auto Mall Parkway.
A passenger vehicle traveling westbound on Stewart Avenue and a big rig hauling a tanker that was traveling north on Boyce Road were involved in the collision.
Police said the big rig was entering the intersection when it collided with the passenger’s vehicle for unknown reasons.
One of the three people in the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No other details about the crash were provided.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
