Solano County, California (April 4, 2023) – One person was killed in a crash involving an Amtrak train in Solano County on Tuesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at around 9:20 a.m. near Tremont Road and Robben Road.
The Amtrak train was traveling from Sacramento to Emeryville when it collided with a car.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
All passengers on the train were unhurt. Alternative transport was provided to get the passengers to their destination because the locomotive had separated from the passengers’ car.
