Lakeside, Oregon (April 11, 2023) – One person was killed and another was injured in a head-on collision that happened in Lakeside on Monday afternoon.
Oregon State Police say the accident happened around 2:27 p.m. on Highway 101 near Lakeview.
A white Ford pick-up truck and a silver SUV were involved.
The Ford reportedly crossed the centre line and collided head-on with the SUV.
The SUV driver, a 61-year-old, was killed in the crash.
The 75-year-old driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
OSP blocked the highway for several hours following the incident.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
