Tacoma, Washington (March 9, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Wednesday morning in Tacoma.
The accident involving a semi-truck and two other cars was reported at around 8:55 a.m. on Interstate 5 near South Yakima Avenue.
The semi-truck rolled over after the crash and blocked three southbound lanes of I-5.
Washington State Department of Transportation said at least one person sustained minor injuries.
The accident caused backup on southbound for two hours.
More details about the crash were not available.
The accident remains under investigation.
