Fontana, California (January 8, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a suspected DUI crash in Fontana on Tuesday night.
The accident was reported around 9:51 p.m. on January 3, in the area of Baseline and Cherry Avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 2020 Infiniti and a 2019 BMW are reported to have collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
According to the CHP, one person sustained serious injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Authorities determined that one driver was driving under the influence and was arrested.
