1 Seriously Injured in Piru Truck Accident on Highway 126 at Honey Lane

Piru, California (April 13, 2023) – At least one person suffered major injuries in a car crash that happened in Piru on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 126 near Honey Lane at around 1:45 p.m.

A dump truck and a sanitation truck were involved in the afternoon crash.

The impact of the collision caused the trash truck to overturn, spilling garbage on the highway.

CHP says at least one person suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
