1 Seriously Injured in Buttonwillow Crash at 7th Standard Road and Wasco Avenue

Buttonwillow, California (January 5, 2023) – One person sustained severe injuries following a major car accident on Wednesday afternoon in Buttonwillow, Kern County, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The crash happened at about 1:04 p.m. on January 4 at 7th Standard Road and Wasco Avenue.

Per dispatch, a Ford Escape and a big rig crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Emergency crews and medics responded to the scene to aid at least one party severely hurt in the accident. The patient was transported to the hospital for further treatment.

Police did not release more information concerning this collision.
