1 Killed After Corning Car Accident at South Avenue and Michigan Avenue

Red Buff, California (December 5, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly car crash that claimed the life of at least one person on Monday evening in Corning, south of Red Bluff.

The crash happened a while before 5:44 p.m. on December 4 at South Avenue and Michigan Avenue.

Per the CHP officials, a big rig and a sedan crashed head-on for unknown reasons.

Firefighters and medics responded to the accident location and confirmed at least one person suffered fatal injuries following the collision. Police did not release the name of the fatal victim.
