1 Killed in Tehachapi Car Accident on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road near Highline Road

Tehachapi, California (December 22, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly multi-vehicle accident that killed one person on Wednesday afternoon in Tehachapi.

The crash occurred at about 3:53 p.m. on December 21, on southbound Tehachapi Willow Springs Road, just two miles south of Highline Road.

Police confirmed a Nissan sedan, a red Ford Fusion, and a tow truck crashed on a blind corner of the roadway for unknown reasons. The crash caused the front axle of the truck to detach.

Debris was scattered in the roadway and one of the cars spilled diesel as a result of the accident.
