Somis Man Injured in Pacific Coast Highway Motorcycle Accident in Ventura County Identified
Ventura County, California (July 18, 2021) – A Ventura County Fire Department wildland firefighter was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Ventura on Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened along the Pacific Coast Highway between Solimar Beach and Emma Wood State Beach, at about 2:28 p.m. July 17.
22-year-old Zachary Gregson, of Somis, was riding a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound along PCH when she crashed into a northbound 2004 Chevrolet Blazer that was making a left turn into the beach parking lot.
Gregson was ejected from the bike and hit a parked car.
Motorcyclist Injured in Collision on PCH in Ventura County Identified
He sustained major injuries and was transported to Ventura County Medical Center where he underwent surgery.
No additional information about the crash was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
