Victoria Arviso ID’d as Woman Killed in Three-Vehicle Collision on Brundage Lane in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (October 28, 2021) – A woman died, and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday night in Bakersfield, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
26-year-old Victoria ‘Tori’ Arviso was a passenger in one of the vehicles and died of injuries sustained in the crash.
The incident occurred at around 8:30 p.m. on Brundage Lane between Eye Street and South Chester Avenue.
An initial police investigation revealed that two trucks were headed east on Brundage and, for unknown reasons, broadsided a sedan.
Arviso, a passenger in the sedan, sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan was treated for minor to moderate injuries.
All passengers in the two trucks also sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Police believe speed was possibly a contributing factor.
Authorities are still investigating the accident to establish where the fault lies.
