Woman Killed in Hyde Park Pedestrian Accident at Slauson and Alviso Avenues
Los Angeles, California (February 27, 2022) – A woman died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday evening at an intersection in Los Angeles’ Hyde Park neighborhood, as per a local news source.
The incident occurred at about 7:00 p.m. at Slauson Avenue and Alviso Avenue.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division said the woman was hit by the vehicle while on a crosswalk.
The victim died at the scene.
Investigators did not immediately establish what caused the accident.
The driver involved stopped and remained at the scene.
