Teenager Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision at Day Street and Bay Avenue in Moreno Valley
Moreno Valley, California (May 27, 2021) – A 17-year-old boy was killed in a car crash in Moreno Valley on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The deadly collision happened near the intersection of Day Street and Bay Avenue at about 3:09 p.m. May 26.
The Winchester boy was driving a Ford Edge through the intersection when it was struck by a Toyota Corolla that was traveling eastbound on Bay Avenue.
The impact of the collision sent the Ford off the roadway where it crashed into a nearby residential fence. The authorities believe the Toyota had run a stop sign at the intersection.

The deputies and the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire personnel who responded to the incident attempted on the unidentified teenager.
Sadly, the boy succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the Toyota was transported to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
