Wilfred Madrid Killed in Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Lincoln Boulevard in Santa Monica
Santa Monica, California (August 23, 2021) – 58-year-old Wilfred Madrid has been identified as the Las Vegas man who was killed in a car crash in Santa Monica on Saturday, August 14.
The fatal crash happened on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway near the Lincoln Boulevard overpass at about 5:46 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Madrid was driving a 2015 Land Rover at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a 2021 Tesla and 2009 Infiniti. The impact of the collision caused the Infiniti to strike a 2016 Dodge.
The Land Rover then collided with a 2019 Kia. The Land Rover then overturned and hit a 2018 Jeep.
A Honda and a Toyota were also involved in the collision.

Madrid was killed in the accident.
A 29-year-old Santa Monica woman in the Jeep was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Two passengers in the Infiniti suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
