Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Avenue 56 near Old Stage Road in Tulare County
Tulare County, California (September 15, 2021) – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a vehicle near Ducor in Tulare County on Saturday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened at about 1:15 p.m. on Avenue 56 west of Old Stage Road.
A 47-year-old Visalia man was riding a 2016 Harley Davidson westbound on Avenue 56 when he drifted into the eastbound lanes at a curve and collided head-on with a 2001 Dodge driven by 84-year-old James Baxley, of Hot Springs.
The unidentified rider was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
It is unknown if Baxley was injured in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
