Adelanto, California (April 30, 2022) – 29-year-old Shanzxe Lussier, of Victorville, was killed in a Wednesday night motorcycle accident at an intersection in Adelanto.
The accident was reported at around 8:55 p.m. April 27, at the intersection of Palmdale Road and Pearmain Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Lussier was riding a 2021 Harley Street Bob motorcycle westbound on Palmdale Road, east of Pearmain Street when he was struck by a silver 2014 Dodge Durango driven by Leejon Tolliver, 34, of Adelanto.
The motorcyclist was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.
Tolliver fled the scene after the crash but was arrested.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
