Accident News Team2 Airlifted after Motorcycle Crash on Highway 246 near Highway 154 in Santa Ynez
Santa Ynez, California (September 19, 2021) – A motorcyclist and his passenger were seriously injured in a collision in Santa Ynez on Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened on the 3900 block of Mission Drive/Highway 246 near Highway 154 at about 4:30 p.m. September 19.
The California Highway Patrol determined that a blue Honda Insight had collided with the motorcycle on the highway in unclear circumstances.
Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the scene and found the male rider and his female passenger with serious injuries.

The two were airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car was unhurt.
