David Howard and Justin Howard Identified as Boys Killed in Wrong-Way Crash in Lancaster, Los Angeles
Lancaster, California (June 6, 2021) – The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identities of two women and two children who were killed in a Friday morning car crash in Lancaster.
62-year-old Sandra Jones, of Lancaster, has been identified as the driver of the Dodge Challenger involved in the collision. Roslind Harris, 59, also of Lancaster, was ID’d as the passenger who succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.
The coroner said David Howard, 6, and Justin Howard, 8, both of Las Vegas, died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
A 5-year-old boy was rushed to Antelope Valley Hospital in critical condition.
2 Women and 2 Children Killed in Wrong-Way Lancaster Crash Identified
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened at the intersection of East Avenue G and North 30th Street East at about 9:11 a.m. June 4.
The authorities established that the Dodge Challenger was traveling westbound on the eastbound lanes of Avenue G when it collided head-on with an oncoming big rig.
The truck driver, a 44-year-old man from Corona, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
