Rosaline Burgos and Vincent Burgos Sr. Killed in San Jose Collision on Bailey Avenue near Monterey Road
San Jose, California (November 10, 2021) – Rosaline Burgos, 85, and Vincent Burgos Sr., 86, have been identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner as the two people who were killed in a two-car crash on Friday morning in San Jose.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at about 10:13 a.m. November 5, on Bailey Avenue near Monterey Road.
The officers determined that the pair, both residents of Morgan Hill, was in a 1991 Chevrolet truck that was traveling west on Bailey when it drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with an eastbound 2019 BMW.

Rosaline, who was a passenger in the truck, died at the scene of the accident.
Vincent was driving the truck and was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
The man driving the BMW was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
The authorities withheld the identities of the victims pending notification of next of kin.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
