Robert Alongino Holmes Killed in Collision at Citrus Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue in Fontana
Fontana, California (June 7, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that claimed the life of 57-year-old Robert Alongino Holmes on Sunday afternoon in Fontana.
At around 12:47 p.m. on June 6, the Fontana Police Department and the CHP were notified of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Citrus Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue.

Holmes, a resident of Fontana, was driving one of the cars and was transported to Kaiser Foundation Hospital Fontana where he died at about 1:44 p.m., the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office said.
The condition of the second motorist was not provided.
A CHP investigation into the accident is ongoing.
