Los Angeles, California (May 23, 2022) – A 27-year-old man was killed Saturday night after his motorcycle crashed into the back of a vehicle on 118 Freeway in Los Angeles.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 11:20 p.m. on the westbound lanes of the freeway, just east of Rocky Peak Road.

The man was riding a white 2008 Suzuki GXSR in the No.1 lane at a high rate of speed when he made an unsafe right turn and crashed into the back of a blue Toyota Tundra.

The impact of the crash made the rider fall off the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

No other injuries were reported.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
