Regina Christine Chadon Killed in Highway 65 Car Crash at Highway 155 in Delano
Delano, California (June 24, 2021) – The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of a woman who was killed in a car crash in Delano on Tuesday afternoon.
The deadly collision occurred on Highway 65 at Highway 155 at about 3:57 p.m. June 15, according to the California Hi9ghway Patrol.
A gray Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Highway 65 when it crossed the double yellow line for unknown reasons and collided head-on with an oncoming 2021 Nissan driven by Regina Christine Chadon, 31, of Porterville.

The Honda came to a stop facing southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway while the Nissan ended in a dirt field east of the roadway.
Chadon was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
52-year-old Gabriel Diaz, of Lamont, was driving the Honda and was extricated from the vehicle before being taken to Kern Medical for treatment of major injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
