Priscilla Hernandez Killed in Rialto Collision on North Riverside Avenue
Rialto, California (June 13, 2022) – 40-year-old Priscilla Hernandez was killed in a suspected DUI crash on Wednesday night in Rialto.
The fatal crash happened in the 300 block of North Riverside Avenue at around 9:15 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Richard Madrid, 38, of Fontana, was driving a black Mercedes C63 northbound on Riverside Avenue when he crashed into a Chevrolet HHR traveling eastbound on Third Street.
Hernandez was riding in the Chevrolet and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Sadly, she died while receiving treatment. Her husband was driving the Chevrolet and was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Madrid was hospitalized with minor injuries. He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The Rialto Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
