Pedro Alvarez ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Victorville Collision on Bear Valley Road
Victorville, California (August 16, 2022) – Pedro Alvarez, 30, of Victorville, has been identified as the motorcyclist who died on Friday morning after being involved in a crash with a car.
According to a local news report, the accident occurred at around 11:00 a.m. on Bear Valley Road between 5th and 7th streets in front of an entrance to the Food 4 Less grocery store.
Alvarez was riding a white Suzuki GSX westbound on Bear Valley Road when he crashed into a silver Fiat that was making a left turn from Bear Valley Road into the Food 4 Less shopping center parking lot.
Alvarez was ejected from the bike, police said.
Paramedics responded to the crash and rushed the Alvarez to Desert Valley Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Intoxication did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
The driver of the Fiat remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
